Galician granite is one of the noblest and most resistant stones there is. Its hardness, which makes it difficult to work, is also what guarantees that a piece will last for generations.
Everything starts with selecting the block. A good stonemason reads the stone: observing its grain, its colour and its veins to decide how to approach it. Much of the result depends on that reading.
From there, we combine direct hand carving — chisel and mallet, as always — with state-of-the-art machinery that lets us rough out with precision and take on large-scale pieces.
The finish is the moment of truth. Every surface is checked and refined to achieve the desired texture, from rustic bush-hammering to the finest polish.
